Arizona residents were perplexed this morning when their daily paper was a little lighter than usual!

The Sports Section, second only to the Comics Section in popularity, was mysteriously missing from every paper. Some local residents wondered if the recent basketball games were to blame for the lack of printed sports news.

When asked for comment, a newspaper publisher who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, “Look, there’s enough bad news in the world. Just read the funnies.”
