After several hours of deliberation at their official Owners Meeting, the NFL Owners have voted to let football players wear the number zero.
“This is the most significant decision of our time,” said Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. “Players love the number zero. It will be a real morale boost for the teams.”
“Players, your voices have been heard,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “The NFL Owners and I spent hours today discussing this because we know how much it means to you. And it is my honor to inform you that some of you can now wear the number zero. Congratulations.”

When asked for his thoughts on the Owners Meeting, San Francisco 49ers Offensive Lineman Trent Williams replied, “I mean, it would have been nice if they had voted on things that would have improved player safety. But yeah, zero is a dope number, I’m excited to finally have the chance to wear it!”
No one had the heart to tell Mr. Williams that offensive lineman still can’t wear zero.
Do better, NFL Owners!!! Next year, make zero available for EVERYONE!
