Photographers and journalists at the PGA Championship were treated to a rare sight and brief reprieve from reporting on the epic snoozefest that is a golf outing.
With the fourth hole in sight, the reporters were poised to capture and discuss the dazzling moment when the golf ball rolled serenely to an almost-stop and then plopped in–but suddenly a beautiful butterfly landed on a nearby flower!
Drawn by the flash photography, the crowd who was being paid by the hour to watch golf and clap soon gathered around the majestic beast. But soon even the butterfly tired of being on the golf course and flew to a nearby soccer field.
Reportedly the butterfly was photographed 350% more than Tiger Woods.
