Horse and disgraced Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit has certainly gotten some bad press lately. In an effort to help his image and endear him to other sports fans, Medina Spirit was seen dressed up as an NBA referee. So fun and light-hearted! We like when animals act like people and we like basketball, too, so Mr. Spirit must be a-okay!

Mr. Spirit’s agent was reportedly very proud of his progress. “I just hope everyone takes note that this is the first time Medina Spirit has been photographed without some sort of drug paraphernalia. I was a little worried when he wanted to custom order a NBA referee shirt for this bizarre stunt, but it looks like everything turned out fine.”
