What’s wrong with Oakland?

Yesterday another Oakland pro sports team announced that they’re considering leaving Oakland and relocating. Looks like the now Las Vegas Raiders started a trend. The latest team looking to relocate is the Oakland Athletics–they’re the professional major league MLB baseball team.

The A’s are one of the only baseball teams to not have a baseball in their logo!

The Oakland Athletics thought they would have more room in Oakland Coliseum after the Raiders moved out. But they still have to share the Coliseum with other local teams, including swimming, Nascar, rodeo, and hockey.

Obviously the Olympic swimming pool gets covered when the Athletics play. But due a typo, pitchers for the Athletics have to share the bullpen with Jim the Bull.

The Oakland Athletics are asking the city of Oakland for a new stadium. Maybe they’ll end up sharing the Raiders’ new digs in Las Vegas!
