U.S. Attempting to Export Baseball to London

Following in the footsteps of the popularity of the NFL’s London Games series, Major League Baseball is now attempting to export baseball to the United Kingdom. Tomorrow the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals will face off in London! Cheerio!

“We were polite about the whole ‘football’ thing, even though we don’t really like the name,” said an anonymous London resident. “But now baseball? It’s too much.”

One British employee lamented, “I wish I’d read sports blogs sooner, I didn’t realize that managers liked to get group tickets for their employees. Had I known, I would have booked my family holiday this weekend. Somewhere abroad. Far away from baseball. But now I don’t have any excuses, I’m stuck attending the game with my whole team from work.”

“Maybe we can pull one of those stunts like what Boston did and dump all the baseballs in the harbor,” mused a bloke.

A random British guy imagines what it would look like to dump all the baseballs in a harbor.

“Wait, what is ‘Move It, Move It’?” asked another London resident. “I’m taking my children to the baseball game tomorrow. Will I regret it?”
