Well, folks, it’s time to celebrate the newest year yet! 2024! That’s a whole lot of years, in our opinion.

Now that we’ve said a big ” you” to 2023, what sports can we look forward to in 2024?

Football. Of course! This February, we’ll be able to watch the 2024th annual Super Bowl. Fun Fact: the upcoming Super Bowl will be Las Vegas! Home of Gambling and the Raiders. You know what they say–when you go to Vegas, you stay in Vegas. And then you leave again a little later.

Basketball. Also known as orange football, basketball takes on many forms such as professional, college, kids, and horse. We’re only a few months away from the Madness in March, so time to start watching the college games and studying the teams.

Gambling. This e-sport is gaining popularity, thanks to all the fun commercials we see on TV of people winning some extra cash just by sitting on their couches at home watching a sports! You can download an app on your phone that lets you make bets on sports happenings. Peak gambling in the spring is the Super Bowl, but you can also bet on the college variety of basketball in Mad March.

Fantasy Football. As soon as football was invented, our ancestors invented fantasy football! Your team may have stunk it up in 2023, but 2023 is over so you have another chance to win the fantasy football title and no longer be the laughingstock of your league friend group. Good luck!!!

Baseball. Now that the masterminds behind Major League Baseballs have been working hard to make the games shorter, folks are starting to watch baseball again. But don’t get too excited about baseball! Before the season can start, we have to make it through the annual players strike and spring training.
