The Arizona Cardinals, already buoyed by tomorrow’s much-anticipated return of Star Quarterback Kyler Murray, announced today that Star Running Back James Conner will also return from IR tomorrow for the Cards game against the Atlanta Falcons.
“This is wonderful news,” said a Cardinals insider. “Having both Murray and Conner back will really help us finish the season on a strong note. Fans will be thrilled!”
“Uhhhhh wtf,” tweeted a Phoenix resident on the Tweeter. “They can’t do anything right! Just tank the rest of the season and get the first overall draft pick next year. This isn’t rocket science. I’ve been doing this in my dynasty fantasy league for years.”
“We just need the number one pick, dudes,” x’ed a tweet from an Arizona native, “we’re great at losing! Let’s just keep it up.”
“My family’s had Cards season tickets for the last ten years,” twixed a Cardinals fan on the Insta. “My kids and I just put the finishing touches on our signs for the game. As soon as the glitter dries, we’ll be ready to remind Coach [Jonathan] Gannon and the whole crew what’s important.”

Good luck to the Cardinals and Falcons tomorrow! Remember–football isn’t about winning or losing, it’s all about having fun and playing a neat game with your team!
