Trevor Lawrence Genius Strategy Leads to Jags MNF Victory

Fans tuning into Monday Night Football at home witnessed a stroke of brilliance from Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence as the team tried to get their first win over the Kansas City Chiefs since November 2009.

With a few minutes left in the game, while the Jags defense gave it their all against the mighty Chieves, Mr. Lawrence sat on the bench and pondered how to best ensure their victory.

“I’ve been reading a lot of books about strategy lately,” Mr. Trevor shared after the game. “I was sitting there, watching my chums put up a good fight, and it hit me!”

A lucky camera operator captured the exact moment Trevor Lawrence put his genius plan into action.

Trevor Lawrence shared a few details behind his plan. “It was two-fold,” he told reporters. “Number one: gross the Chiefs defense out so they don’t want to touch the ball. Decrease the chances of turning the ball over. And two: give a little extra stickiness so our boys can make a monster catch!”

Head Coach Liam Coen praised Trevor Lawrence’s quick thinking. “There’s always something new that comes along! If we’d had technology like this five or six years ago, maybe we would have broken our losing streak against the Chiefs before today.”

“I can’t believe I got all that on tape,” gushed the ecstatic camera man who wished to remain anonymous. “Just imagine if they’d had cameras back in the day to capture Hannibal crossing the Alps with his grand army and his war elephants. This footage tonight–this was an even greater feat!”

Congrats to Mr. Trevor L and the Jags on your big win! We can’t wait to see what hijinks you come up with in Week 6!
