NBA basketball coaches across the country are complaining about the court in Cleveland Cavaliers’ Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
“That court is a danger to all the players,” said an anonymous coach. “I don’t know how the Cavs have gotten away with this all these years. Someone needs to do something.”
NBA players and coaching staff risk getting injured when they take the huge step off of the court to get to the sidelines.
“It’s like a two-foot drop,” said a player. “Surrounded by spikes and poisonous snakes. And if that’s not bad enough, the Cavs have trapdoors all over the place! And the refs don’t do anything when you fall through–it happens so fast, they don’t even notice.”

“Has this been the secret to their success all along,” asked a frustrated opponent. “Why can’t my team have some cool booby traps to use against the other teams?”
“Look, the courts are supposed to give the home team an advantage,” said a Cavaliers spokesperson. “Everybody knows that. We just did it better than everyone else.”
Commissioner Adam Silver and other NBA big wigs could not be reached for comment because sports journalists didn’t feel like reaching out to them.
