Since nothing of note happened in the college football world today, football fans have been pouring over footage from Thanksgiving Day and discovered a shocking Turkey Day snub!

“There wasn’t any NCAA college NFL Jr. football worth watching on TV today,” said a fan and amateur sleuth, “so I was rewatching the games from Thursday–where the was Jordan Love’s turkey leg??!”

Sure enough, football detectives discovered that Packers QB Jordan Love was not given the iconic turkey leg after leading his team to victory.

Folks at Fox Sports didn’t have an answer that satisfied the inquiring fans.

“Oh, uh, you know… we didn’t get turkey for the players this year,” Fox Sports broadcaster and former NFL tight end Greg Olsen said. “We thought we’d spice things up this year by not having turkey for the players of the game. Or for anyone. Except us in the broadcast booth, we all got a single bite of turkey, but that was it. We definitely didn’t eat an entire turkey that had a handwritten note on it that said ‘do not eat, reserved for the players of the game’ or anything along those lines.”

“We think you ate our man Jordan Love’s turkey,” said a pack of Packers fans. “We will never forgive you.”

“That’s the first rule of Thanksgiving,” said a holiday etiquette expert. “You never run out of turkey. You have to have enough food for everyone, or else you automatically fail Thanksgiving, and you fail the entire year.”

The second rule of Thanksgiving: you never talk about Thanksgiving.

“Jordan Love played his heart out on that field,” shouted an upset fan. “And then he had to go back to his house and eat ramen because he didn’t go to the grocery store because he thought he’d get to eat some Thanksgiving food at the end of the game as is tradition. you, Fox Sports!”

Conspiracy theorists were quick to point out that the powers that be didn’t expect the Packers to win. “After losing all that money on the famous sports gambling app Cash Flusher, the folks in charge at Fox Sports couldn’t afford to make a turkey for Jordan Love.”
