Halloween Weekend Brings Chaos to College Football

Well, folks, we all know college kids can always find a reason to have a party. And gameday of Halloween weekend has proven to be a recipe for disaster.

“Referees everywhere,” whispered a traumatized college football player on a losing team. “So many whistles. Which whistle is the real one? Which whistle? Why are there so many flags on the ground? Too many referees. It’s a nightmare.”

A glimpse into the student section at one of today’s games!

“They were all giving different signals,” said a frazzled quarterback at halftime. “I didn’t know what to do! Was the play dead? Did we do a false start? Was I even here? And apparently I was there because I got sacked.”

Even the actual NCAA officials were perplexed!

One college referee lamented, “I looked over at my buddy to see what his signal was going to be, and then I was like, ‘Huh, when did he change into a crop top?’ Then I realized I was looking at a spectator in a referee costume. Ridiculous. Maybe next year I’ll come to the game dressed as a drunk college kid and see how they like it.”

Stay safe at your Halloween parties, you crazy kids!
