Over the years, many National Football League teams have been the Detroit Lions. Back in 1989, the Dallas Cowboys were the Detroit Lions. Whoa! Can you imagine? The Cowboys were the Lions! Recently, football fans started to think the Jacksonville Jaguars might be the next Detroit Lions. As if!!!!

The 2023-2024 NFL season started out with a major upset, and folks thought maybe the Detroit Lions weren’t the Detroit Lions anymore. (lol is that even possible??) But after today’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the entire world is wondering–are the Detroit Lions actually the Detroit Lions still, or are the Denver Broncos the new Detroit Lions?

“I think the Houston Texans are the Detroit Lions,” said a Texas resident.

“Well, I’ll tell you one thing,” said a Chicago Bears fan. “The Chicago Bears will never be the Detroit Lions! Just you wait!”

“Can we be the Detroit Lions?” asked the Arizona Cardinals.

“There are only one Detroit Lion,” said a Detroit Lions fan, “and that’s the Cincinatti Bengals.”
