Well, folks, the 2023rd NBA Draft is almost here! We can’t believe it!

Widely considered the most notable NBA prospect–and likely to be the number one pick!–is Victor Wembanyama from France. Like many professional basketball players, Monsieur Wembanyama is tall.

And as soon as photographers saw a picture of him holding a baseball, they couldn’t get enough of it!

“He’s really tall, and his hands are big,” gushed a sports journalist. “Look how tiny that baseball looks in his hand! Quick–find something else for him to hold!”

“Here, Victor! Hold this cherry tomato!”

“No, that’s stupid! Hold this grape tomato!”

“Hold this extended edition of War and Peace that I forgot to return to the library!”

Not wanting to disappoint the journalists and photographers, Mr. Wembanyama proceeded to pose with a cute baby mouse, a sewing needle, a flake of crushed red pepper, a grain of sand, and an amoeba.
